Canary Admiral Vanessa vulcania
A scarce species, endemic to the Canary Isles. Hardly ever available.
Larvae feed on nettle. They live in individual leaf tents, like the Red Admiral atalanta. Larvae will produce adults this year and go on to produce more generations.
